We moved into our present
location, January 2008. The parts you
send to be plated never leave our shop and each item you send is
inspected with a digital image created for your personal file. After
your part or parts are received and inspected, I will contact you and
give you the exact cost to do your work.
We provide the plating for the following items:
Nickel (polished)
Nickel (antique distressed)
Copper (flashed)
Gold (24 Carat Gold (antique)
After many requests, we have developed a process which adds the
distressed look to new parts such as flanges, hoops, hook&nuts
etc.
so these parts can be used as replacements on old vintage instruments
such as prewar banjos.
Besides musical instruments we also plate such items as barber chairs,
tableware, motorcycles, antique car parts, coca cola@, memorabilia and
most other items that has a metal surface.
